Morgan Point report (pics)

I waited until the temp got out of the 30's before I went fishing, I got to M. Point about 10:45 am. Got to my fishing hole at 11:00, just in time for the major solunar time. Started catching fish right away, throwing the roadrunner. I caught 23 crappie between 11 and 2pm, then it slowed down. I fished until 5:15 trying to get my limit but just couldn't find that last one. I ended up with 29 crappie and one LM bass. The best was 2lb. 2oz. and had 3 others close to 2lbs. It was a beautiful day to fish, just a little cold starting out.

dayum good catch there Mr. Jerry. I met Glenn Mathis..aka...Gut Shot on Old Town lake this morning. I caught three before you could see good. I thought, this is going to be a great day. Then nothing all day, he caught three and had to leave. I hung around waiting on the afternoon bite and caught ten more. Glenn gave me his ,so I guess I had a good day.

You fellows need to meet this man, he is one heck of a nice fellow.

Well i'm hitting the sack so I can do this all over again tomorrow...:D

Good catch Stumpjumper. I might have to hit that hole on my way back from Chicot to Batesville. It's hard to beat south Arkansas crappie fishing!

John, I'm fishing about 6 ft. deep in 10 to 11 ft. of water over structure.

JohnR, I went today and the males have moved to the banks, so you might want to try the shallows.

Now I know how you are catching so many, you are getting them DRUNK and taking them home. Congrats on the catch again Jerry, I am really getting jealous, I have been having trouble catching in the double digits..... Good post, thanks.
