Default Fly Tying Expo in Mt. Home

I spent 4 hours today tying at the Sow Bug Roundup in Mt. Home. Did not tie one single trout fly. Spent the time tying crappie flies. I'll bring some to the Saturday Nightstalk. You guys can tell me what you think and maybe offer suggestions. See ya at the launch at noon.

Man Dave, if your crappie jigs are as awsome as your trout flies, they will be awsome!

If that is the case then I will have to bring some of mine for comparison. I have been tying for about twelve years, but have never really tied anything for crappie til this past year. How was the Sowbug Roundup? I use to go to it until I started teaching, then the timing was off by a week. It is usually a week before I get out for spring break.

Sow Bug was awsome. We had tyers from as far away as Autriaila and England. Overall I think there were some 70 tyers there. I got about 20 or so flies tied for this trip. Have no idea how they will perform or even if they will perform. I never tied for crappie before, but I spent 8 hours tying. I can tie pretty good for trout, but crappie are new. I guess we'll find out how good or bad they are.
