Here's a few pics from my trip to Chicot this past weekend
Was doing ok until the cold front and wind shut me down.
Went from catching a few to wondering where they all
went. Had one fish that weighed 2.4 pounds and couple
of two pounders were the biggest.

Those are some good fish there. They should be doing good this week if the weather cooperates.

Man your killing me with those pics. Would love to fish Lake Chicot again. Just wish it wasnt so dang far down there. Every time we have to go to the gulf on vacation I wish they would drop me off in Lake Village and pick me up on the way back so I could do some fishing.

All I've heard about is small crappie at Chicot. But it seems that you and Stumpjumper are proving all that wrong by pulling some big ol' crappie out of there. Those are some nice fish....Now I just have to find the time to get down there. So many places to fish and so little time...

it was pretty tough for us on chicot last weekend too. you are right about the cold front shutting them down. we ended up with 15 keepers on saturday and 6 on sunday morning. they should pick back up this week with the warm temps. i have a pic on my cell phone but i cannot get it downloaded.
