Anyone have a report on Norfork Lake

Has anyone fished Norfork Lake lately? Going to be down there the first week of April and would appreciate any reports between now and then.

You have mine already, ic. Cold clear water, colder air, bluebird skies, icy winds and few fish!
Water should be warming up quickly, think you will do well. Would be sure to try back of coves for white bass besides the brush close to drop offs/deep water for the speckled fish. Crappie, like bass, will move more on steep slopes than on shallow points after cold fronts and when water is cool.

Nobody fishing Norfork?? Can anyone tell me the water temp and how far the crappie are from spawning?

Just got back tonight, You should hit it pretty good. Crappies were just about ready but not quite. The weather was in the 70's every day and the arms were getting close to sixty degrees. We got into the stripers so we didn't fish much for crappies. Caught some real nice 3 lb white bass in the creek arms. Rained and the water got muddy but that will heat it up quicker.
