    Default Lake Greeson

We are going to be on family camping/crappie trip to Greeson. Weds- Sun. Camping at Parker creek. Is there are Greeson Gurus on here that would like to point me and kids in the right direction. Single pole only. Leaving my spider rig at home.

    Thanks

I haven't been to Greeson in a couple of weeks since the water level changed and I'm sure the spawn in all but over, so probably not many left on the banks........but you could try that. I'm not familiar with the part of the lake you're staying at because I usually fish the North end around Self Creek. I did hear that someone has put lots of new piles in the Bear Creek area and tied little pink ribbons on the trees on the bank marking them. Find a pink ribbon=brush pile.

I would look for brush piles in the coves (they're in nearly every cove) and either cast over them or vertical jig them. I'm guessing the fish will be backed off into 10-15 fow now. Colors really don't matter to me, but Cajun Cricket and Tennessee Shad are good there. GTT
