Surgery today went well. Started around 11 am and finished up around 1:00pm. They did have to amputate a small portion of her brain, but no long term effects should be experienced. She is staying the night in PICU and we should be back in one of the floor rooms tomorrow. She was awake and eating a popsicle when we got back in the recovery room.
