Default What do you guys fish out of ?

    I have two:

    1. a war eagle built for crappie 1432 with stick steer and high transom with 25 long evinrude fully carpeted. this was one of the first war eagles after they got back in business.

    2. A new 2006 war eagle 1542 FLD, with a short shaft Yamaha 4 stroke 25 tiller , skin out, with no carpet.

Theres things I like about both boats, but right now Im limited to the 2006, due to an exhaust leak on the evin.

Default two crappie crafts here too

I have two boats that I chase crappies and bream in.

The older one is a 1974 Duracraft (olive drab, old duck boat) with a 15 hp Johnson on it. Sometimes I have an Evinrude 4 hp on it. Pole holders as needed. One seat mount on bow for old-time sculling, otherwise a side-mount, hand-control trolling motor. Close order combat boat!

The newer one is a 2000 Alumacraft semi-vee (burgundy/white) rigged with forward jigging seat, forward trolling motor, and pole holders aplenty. I have a 30 hp Evinrude with a console on that one. A drift or spider rig boat.
Proud to be an AMERICAN fisherman!

    I mainly fish out of this 1448 mod-v Crestliner. It's a great set-up for spider-riggin'.

I also have a 1442 old as dirt Polarkraft jon boat. I've had it for 15 years. It's a great boat for the shallow spawning season. You can scull right up to those brushpiles without ever scaring fish.
