I am going to chime in on this one as CEB will probably not be on the computer this weekend at his folks house.
The T bar for the rod holders is an idea I originally picked up from Rango here on Crappie.com. They are 1/2 inch gas pipes with the half inch flange for a mount. His rod holders were made 40+ years ago by his grandfather. I made mine out of 6 inch high pressure water pipe that I ripped in half then used a hole saw to cut out the areas for the rods to lay in.
If you live close to central Ark let me know as I have enough of the water pipe left to make at least 50 rod holders and would be glad to give you all you want. The gas pipe you can get at Lowes or HD in pre cut and threaded lengths.
Good luck with the project.Quote:

16' semi V 48'' Alumaweld (20 years old ) I put a new 70 hp Yamaha on it 2002. I love it because of the low profile . That makes it easier to hold in the wind. Nimrod is so windy and fishing brushpiles in open water is tough. My buddy from Legend Craft wants to build me a boat real bad. I just love this boat too much to change. I may have to design me a little bigger boat if I guide much. :D

I have a 1959 Lonestar semi-V with a 20hp merc, 52# foot controlled MG, attwood rod holders and a 1996 10' Jon boat with a paddle, and occasionally I put the old Johnson 6hp on it. It's for little ponds and sloughs.
I have a 2005 Tracker Pro Crappie with a 75hp. Also have a jon boat I throw in the back of the truck.
I have 2, a 14ft jon boat and a 18ft triton.
