Not sure what to make of this

My wife said one of our chickens flew out of my boat after cackling like she had laid an egg. I went out and nothing looked amiss.



Looked closer and saw this.



What I would really like to know is she sarcastically telling me I suck as a fisherman, wants to trade eggs for a fishing trip or is she maybe showing some charity because she knows I don't bring much home.
