So many people just don't give a crap anymore. I get mad every time I see someone toss trash out the car window. They don't even give it a 2nd thought. You want to get depressed Google and read up on the world trash.

don't see the problem with that trash. It will degrade in 2 or 3 hundred years or so.

I will fish with somebody twice if I see them trashing........ first time and last time. 'nuff said.
The new Captain of Enforcement in this area contacted the Faulkner County SO for me and they are going to schedule a community service cleanup of these areas. Thanks again for the idea Russ!
That's great news Matt.

I saw a conservation officer wade out into the Spring river and grab a canoe that had just littered and he ended up taking the guy in the canoe to jail. It is sad that we as a fishing concerned citizen can't just say. Hey, pick that up or I'll bring my garbage to your house. Always leave better than you found it.
Just a quick story about littering... I was turkey hunting up near the Mulberry River in North Arkansas one day. I stopped a few minutes to admire the view from a high ledge overlooking the river. There was a long pool at the end of a run and just about that time two yahoos in a canoe decided it was time to throw out about 12 beer cans. I was in full camouflage, well hidden and also had a 3 inch 12 gauge shotgun on my shoulder. Being on the high ledge I felt pretty sure I could out run them. I shouted at them as loud as I could, "PICK UP THOSE BEER CANS AND DON'T EVER LET ME CATCH YOU LITTERING AGAIN!!!" I scared the crap out of them. I think they thought I was God. They quickly picked up those cans and skedaddled it down the river.
