We're not limited to any number of poles except in certain waters. But, I think there is a limit on how many hooks we have in the water including hooks on jugs, yo-yos, trotlines and fishing poles. I think the maximum number of hooks in the water per person is 50 but I haven't found anything on the subject in the regulations.

The Rules In Mo. Is 33 Hooks But You Can Use All The Rods You
Want If You Label Them With Your Name, Address And Phone #.
Spider Rigging Is In As Long As Your Poles Are Marked. Just Don't Exceed 33 Hooks. Per A Game Warden I Talked To At Truman Lake.

Their is a limit on how many you trout fish with, you can only use one, on the little red river. I am not aware of any other restrictions.
Great replies and very much appreciated....thanks to all of you.
I just got off the phone with AG&F. They said there was no limit on the number of rods you could use [U]on most lakes.[U] There was a limit for trout fishing and yo-yo's. I specifically asked about the oxbow lakes. Answer: "There is no limit on those lakes".
Hope this helps.
Yep, he told you right.Quote:
