No the boat doesn't have tilt and trim, but I don't plan on going too fast anyhow. I kind of wish it was a 25 instead of a 40, that would be fast enough for me. The 40 also puts me off some lakes, like Conway.

Hey flyflinger, there aren't many lakes in AR that have hp restrictions. You would be fine out on Conway, just take it easy.
The only lakes that I know of hp restrictions are the Village Creek lakes and maybe Bear Creek. I'm not positive, but I think that you can still power-load (with the big motor) your boat onto the trailer in these lakes.
You might want to watch out for some of those guys going 80 or so on Conway. There are no restrictions that I know of; I see a couple of regulars occasionaly with roostertails 20' high. I haven't been on the main part yet this year, but the trails were well marked last year. Watch for floaters. My last boat didn't have tilt on it. There is a lever of some sorts you can put on it to make pulling the lower unit out of the water easier. It will come in handy when fishing a stumpy bank and the lower gets hung up.Quote:

I need to locate an owneers manual for it. The motor does have trim tabs installed on the skeg (wing type), that should push it up faster. So, now I have to locate my old tent and stuf for the May Crappie Camp at Beaver, may even talk the wife into coming. Thanks for all your support guys.
Hey flyflinger, here is the Eagle Cuda 128 manual in Adobe pdf format.... http://www.eaglesonar.com/Downloads/...631_111902.pdf
Or here is the zip file download.... http://www.eaglesonar.com/Downloads/...631_111902.zip
I was wading the White one morning about 0700, and the fog was still on the river, and it was nice an cool. Some jerk came at me out of the fog at full throttle, and swerved to miss me only about foot away. Scared the crap out of me. I tried to take his hat off with a fly cast, but he was going too fast. Needless to say, I never waded in the fog after that. I did manage to catch and release 84 rainbows that day. Never eat trout they taste too fishy very strong taste. But it is fun to watch the bank fishermen shake their heads as I catch and release one after another and they are not even getting a bite. Fly fishers will outfish bait fisher for trout every time.
Thanks CEB, checked it out and it is 64 pages long and I am on dial up. So I'll download it tomorrow and go buy some more printer paper. Thanks a lot.
