    Just wondering if anybody has had any luck on blue mountain lately?

    With two tournaments coming soon looks like you aren't gonna get much info. You probably do better looking at their results to know how good the fishing is or wait till they are over. Could go to the weigh in also and meet some great folks.

    Didn't know tournaments were coming up lol. That explains no responses, Maybe I'll try catfishing out there, haven't tried that on blue mountain yet

    Never tried Catfishing over there . But know a gill netter that worked the lake when it was drawn down . It is full of good ones .

    I think if I can find some shad out there the catfishing should be pretty good. I noticed a couple guys throwing Jugs out back in the spring when I was crappie fishing the spawn out there

    I can attest there are good whisker fish in Blue Mountain. I caught about a dozen last Sat. while pre fishing for the CACA tournament this Saturday. I had 4 Blue cats in the 10 lb range and some channels in the 2-5 lb range. Lots of fun!! I was crappie fishing and these bonus fish helped my buddy have enough fish for a good fish fry next week. Good luck with the cats
