    Default Night Fishing

Anybody gonna be doing any night fishing during the new moon July 4th? My partner and I will be. We built some led green under water lights a few days ago, and gonna use those, they sure are bright.

I might. It all depends on what my wife has planned. I tried Friday evening. The bugs ran me off. When you kill 3-4 bugs every time you blink it's hard to make yourself stay.

I can't handle that either. I bought a therma cell thing that runs them skitter's off, but haven't tried it out yet, but people say they work good if it ain't no wind blowing. Good Fishing.....

I had my Thermocell running, it seemed to have no affect. They weren't skeeters. I actually coughed up bugs Saturday morning. In all the night fishing and bow fishing I have done nothing has ever compaired. I was on Nimrod in my kayak. The plan was to fish Friday night and Saturday morning. I left after about an hour. I did catch a couple small black crappie though.

I recently added a strip of green LEDs to one side of my boat. I was surprised how many bugs/skeeters it attracted.
