Anytime I go out, I will always post a report. I am not stingy with information in anyway shape, form or fashion and I don't have a problem sharing the info....as you will find several people are the exact same way on this board.

Welcome aboard, Sportsman. Lots of good information and reports can be found here. If there's any information about crappie that you would like to know, just click on the search bar at the top. I'm pretty sure that you'll find it. You can also search for "Lake Conway" within the Arkansas forum and find lots of good info, both recent and old. There's also lots of good information that can be found here... http://www.crappie.com/tips.html

I've made one trip to Conway here lately. I did fairly well with over a dozen crappie in a few hours. And actually, I'm taking my brother-in-law and nephew to Conway in the morning. Will post a detailed report with some pictures tomorrow.

In fact you can come meet the "Conway Legend" Sat night on the Little Maumelle. We are having a group nightfishing trip with a few of the folks off the Arkansas board. In fact there will be several guys who fish Conway that can give you some tips on the lake.
    Well!!
My wife always tells me I am a legend in my own mind. I really ain't that smart on Conway. But, I know where they should be. I get my hat handed to me quite often. I don't know what the draw down has done to the shallow flats action. There is lots of new vegetation that could have some effect. You mentioned seeing the boats...You are probably talking about Gold Creek. Excellant place to start. It is just about red ear time. If you have a small boat, give Caney creek a try. I haven't fished there in a couple of years. My boat is too big to launch there and coming in from the lake is a guarantee you will tear something up.
