Smile caught a few on Columbia thanks to Bobberwatcher

In the true spirit of crappie .com took a trip to Columbia lake used information from bobberwatcher conerning when and where and how ended up with 11 keepers and a nice fishing trip to add to my memories plus met some new friends who were fishing in this area thanks bobberwatcher hope to see you on the lake. The fishing on lake Erling is slow and fish are small but if it ever picks up will be sure to post.

    No slab,

I am glad to hear you had a good trip!! I went to Columbia about two weks ago. My wife is from El Dorado so we took mom and dad. We caught 14 keepers around the Beech Creek bridge. They were at exactly 9 ft. in 13 ft. of water. They were against the pilings but in the mouth on the cove side. We were using larger shiners than usual. I caught my biggest one's on red fleck on beaver's. I loof forward to getting out there as it warms up. Good luck.

Hey Noslab, glad you had a good trip to columbia. Thanks for posting a report. This is what's great about Crappie.com, the sharing of reports and helping others catch fish. Thanks.

No Maynard, I didn't make it to MP, in fact I didn't get on the water this weekend. I guess I was just too sorry to go, because Sunday was a good looking day. I am thinking about going there this weekend, but just got a good report about Chicot, so now I'm torn as to where to go. I'll have to inquire about both tomorrow and make up my mind. I'll post a report on which ever and how I did. By the way, I noticed that this was your second post, so Welcome to the board, really glad to have you.

Glad you found some slabs, noslab. Catchin' crappie is what this site is all about. Be sure and keep us updated on Erling because I'd like to get down there and try it for the first time. I guess that you'll have to change your name now...:D

Decisions, Decisions, huh Jerry? I hope you make the right one...:D
