I bet you will fool some danged ol' crappie with those. I know what you mean about the high price...with all the work that goes into tying each one, it's tough to let one go for anything less than $20 a pop...:D

I ran out to wally world tonight and bought myself some marabou feathers, couple different colored sewing thread, clear fingernail polish and TAA DAA!! I will sell one of these puppies for 20 bucks a piece. (I'll even pick up shipping costs :D )

Are you a deer hunter? Keep the tails and belly hair. Use kool-aid to dye the hair' then you're in business. Duck and goose feathers can be used sometimes. I even use the tails off road killed squirrels.
