Well you definitely know more about the truck problem than I do!

I've got a 96 GMC Serria 1/2 ton with a 6.5 turbo diesel and an 4L80E transmission with similar miles on it and it's still going strong. It will get you back on the water faster than fixing yours. Let me know if interested. I might even deliver it to you.
