Anybody know this lake, I have never fished it. just looking for a place not to far from Cabot to hit

I know D10 shocked a MONSTER green carp from there last year. Thats all I know about it. Maybe he or someone will chime in soon!

I've fished it a few times a few years back. It's a pretty lake, full of timber. One of my good friends has fished it allot and says there are some very nice crappie there but they aren't easy to catch. When I've fished it with him before we would fish a lot of tops but it was always while were going specifically from one place to another where he knew fish would be. I never did any good when I went without him. I haven't heard of anything exciting from there lately.

Dennis Bayless (Midsouth Man) moved out to Barnett. I bet he may be able to give you a little insight on the crappie. All I can speak on are the monster largemouth out there. We also see some crappie off the edge of the water willow near the channel during the spawn. Like Mac said, it is a pretty lake. So if you don't catch anything, at least you have some good scenery.

Father in law talked me out of Barnett ended up at Clearlake wasn't very clear Saturday and water was up so there are my excuses for catching only one green carp
