I have an 11' and a 8' old Wally. Good rod with lots of backbone just heavy. They don't make them anymore I think.
I'd like to find a made in USA pole but can't so far.

Fished my favorite creek today which is a tributary of the AR river and done fairly well, they were 8 fow early then as the day progressed they moved up to 3fow, no big fish today but had fun catching them. Broke my favorite pole today it was 15 years old and a Wally Marshall one of the green ones loved that 12ft rod, oh well caught many of fish with it just hate it cause I will never find another like it, Liked it better than the tuxedo black series.

Yes they are a Lil heavy but darn good rods, no they replaced His rods for the crappie max which are OK but not my choice.
His poles now are made by LEW'S. .. THE SOLO SERIES SEEMS TO BE A DECENT JIG POLE! !!!

I've got a 12' Wally signature series with the finger cutout to feel the blank. I could part with it if ya could use it Preacher. It's the green one and I haven't used it but 2-3 times.

You need to be targeting smaller fish. You done wore out your best pole catching them big honking slabs. I ain't wore out a pole since.....ever. If BRM can't fix you up, the Ozark is a nice choice. Sensitive with good back bone on the 11ft rod. Someone has said the shorter ones are too whippy.

Thanks for the offer on the pole that is very generous of you but I got some more of that type just not as fond of them, this one was a trolling rod but used it for dobbing brush, and yes rcc I wore it out ! To tell y'all I had a fairly large catfish hung and he decided to dive quickly under a dead fall pulled hard to control it and my pole broke what a deal. The catfish won and took my last natural cricket jig so on my way now to go get another bag or two...

Preacher, if you call Grizzly jig I bet they have a replacement tip that will work with your pole. Just need to give them the numbers off it.
