I moved to Batesville 4 years ago from Mississippi. And I have figured out I work way too much, HA. But looking at venturing out a little bit tomorrow and go to Overcup. Some folks I work with have mentioned it several times so I am off tomorrow so why not try it. What is the go too place there for minnows close to lake? Thanks in advance for the help.
P.S. The one that has been telling me about it is going to Grenada for 4 days. Go figure :/
Sure will. The wife is trying to get me back into fishing so that is always a plus :).
A friend of mine, also a cousin to Nimrod's Catch, one caught a 4lb 15oz crappie out of Overcup! While weighing it at the Bait Shop he questioned if it was a state record but some guy said no the state record was way over 5lbs. So he cleaned it and ate it. He found out later that the state record at that time was 4lb 9oz. held by Danny Burfield of Ola! He was upset to say the least!
If he ate a 4 lb crappie he's a dipstick anyway no crappie that size deserves less than being put on the wall not on a plate !!!! some folks just ain't got a clue !!!!!!
Great looking fish Robbie, Purfect example why folks should at least show up at the weigh ins, but it also looks like you and the fam should come and join in on the Tourneys, I would bet we would see you and the miss at the top of the list soon. Great Job and Thanks for the Bacon Buddy. Hope to see you at the Big Fish Tourney at the Big D Apr 2nd if you can make it.
