Good graph made a world of difference for me on brewer. Probably get better answers after the tourney out there this weekend.

New crappie fisherman here. I've been to Brewer six times, not a crappie yet, but have caught a few small bass. Can you give me any tips or hints as to what the crappie mite bite ? Time of day? Any particular lure or color? Tactics? Anything will beat what I'm doing. Thanks.

Are u fishing from a boat? Do you have electronics? In my opinion crappie will eat what ever they can see coming so colors will change based on water conditions. Dark/muddy water use Bright chartreuse/bright orange/plain black! Pretty much and dark color in muddy water. Clear water natural or white and about anything is good. White/chart pink/white etc. they don't tend to care as long as they can see it. So fish the color u have most confidence in. I personally will do most of my fishing during PRIME moon phases. A lot don't believe in this but I do and have logs for 7 years back up that theory. This is pretty broad info I'm giving but will give specifics if I know what tactics ur going to be using. I'm no pro but will help all I can! And there are some sure enuf pro's that will chime in after this weekend's tourney is over I bet!
Thanks guy's. Yes I've got a boat and electronics. I have found a few brush piles but yesterday they were occupied. Guess I just need to find more brush piles. Thanks for the color and moon phase info.
hey lowepro ill take a copy of that 7 year log... thanks!!
If you'll go to moderated ar fishing reports and then click on "stickies" and scroll down a little bit abh has put alot of info pertaining to locating brush on brewer. Should be somewhat helpful. It's titled brewer brushpiles
Thanks for the info on the moderated reports. They don't show up for me yet. Probably cause I'm new. In time, when it is available to me, I'll look it over.
