    Default Relocated transducer

Had an idea that I hope will work. Bought a new Garmin 73sv recently with a very large transducer. I wanted it on the front of the boat. So with a little head scratching this is what I came up with.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457390653.433037.jpg

I like it. I'm doing a little head scratching on a large transducer for the front of my boat also. I may need to go the same route as you at least for a short term fix.

I already had the 1 inch base and mount, the claw was purchased online from ram mounts. They come in 2 sizes mine is the small one.

it seems very secure,a small amount of play foward and aft because of the rubber balls on mount but otherwise solid!
