    Default 15 hp lakes

Does the agfc have a list of all the lakes in Arkansas with the motor size limits? I have a 15 hp with a 14 ft. jon and like to fish small lakes but don't know where I can and can't launch across the state.

I know they removed motor limits on some lakes like Conway years ago.

well, I fish Conway all the time. I am thinking of small lakes like maybe lake bald knob, lake poinsett, etc.

thanks for trying anyway though, Nimrod. maybe a bunch will give us 1 or2 each. that would help.

The AGFC lifted their 10hp limit years ago. Some of the really small lakes under the control of AGFC (like Dunn and Austel = no gas powered motors) and some of the federal lakes like Bear Creek do still have 10hp limits. Poinsett is not a limited lake.
    I'd rather be fishing.

Thanks Nimrod. You beat me to it. Also some smaller Forrest Service lakes and State Park lakes may have motor restrictions as well.

if I go to a lake that has a motor restriction, do I have to take the motor off the boat, or can I just take the fuel line out of the boat, or the gas tank, or what??

Go to the AGFC web site and check to see if the lake has any restrictions before you go. But more important you can also ck the fishing regulations, size limits, number limits, etc...

FYI, Bald Knob Lake doesn't have any motor restrictions anymore.
