Default When is it too cold to fish ?

I went today but it was a struggle between cold and wind . Started off bad slow but got them figured out , had to not move jig for a minute sometimes . I kept having to dip pole in the water to melt off ice all day ! No real slabs but kept enough for a good mess (14). Still cold and old bones hurt !

They catch em through the ice. I guess it doesn't get to cold to fish unless the water freezes solid.

It was too cold to fish today, but I heard they bit pretty good anyway.

Very nice it's definitely tuff when it's that cold and then add the wind (burrrr) everything you do is that much harder! Sometimes you just have to grind it out for a mess congrats!!!

Nice mess and yes it was cold yesterday. For me if it is 40 degrees with sunshine and no wind that is not too bad, anything south of those conditions and it gets questionable.
