Finally got a day off.Up at daylite finally on the water at 11:30 fished and hour no bites.finally found them.Trolling motor(1995 model) switch quit.Wind blew us to the Boat(divine intervention)(some one was looking over us) ramp.1:30 stopped at a private pond to finish the day.Got home had a spare switch got it switched out ready to go again.(have an old trolling motor for parts) Not big.But beats a" poke in the eye" any Day.

Nice day for sure.
Not very much cover in this small flood control lake.In the cold month's the crappie suspend out in open water just under the shad/small bream.Couple of fench row's.Working on fish cover (buckets).
learning curve on the spider Rig(not the same as the (ozark jig pole). Usually use my White River fly rod,poping bug/bream killer(meatgetter critters).(spring/summer).
