    Default Beaver lake

Hi, I am a louisiana boy that lived a short time in Rogers Ark,and fished bever lake some. Last year my family & I went to Beaver lake, and was shocked to see the lake so low. Has the lake recovered much after all this rain. We are planning to return this year again, and was just curious.
The fish were bitting yesterday, The fish will bite tomorrow,,, today I must buy my fish

    Hello,
Yes, the lake has went up quite a bit! It is 5' above normal and rising still!
We will have an excellent spawn this year because of all of the ground cover and small trees that have grown the past two years and are now under water! If your looking for a place to stay visit my link below for a list of resorts.

Hey Lousiana, Jason Piper a great Crappie guide who lives in Rodgers told me that the lake is over full for the first time in a couple of years, and the spring spawn should be awesome. you can contact Jason @ www.jtcrappieguidear.com he has put me on some excelent crappie, he really knows his way around Beaver.

As Jason said, the lake is up already 5'...however, we are in store for a LOT more rain, so this will only solidify the statements he made even more. The fishing should be TREMENDOUS up here in Rogers, AR. I would imagine the bass are going to have a heck of a good year too, I wouldn't know b/c I am not a bass fisherman, haha. No matter what, the area is always breathtaking when you see it from the water ;-) You already know this though I'm sure. Good luck.
