Marine Expo

Did anyboby else go to the Expo ? There seemed to be more crappie stuff than anything else which was great . I bought a couple of rods but the amount of tackle was disapointing. Went to Hooter's after the expo and it was the highlight of the trip.

I went. Don't know why. Same old suff. I did meet the man that had all the rods and jigs. He is from Cabot. He had some nice crappie rods, but I wanted 12ft and he was already out. Gave me his card and said to call him and order. He is also going to be at next week show.

Do you think that there will be more tackle at next weeks show? Just might have to go back.

Unfortunatly have been oncall all weekend. I may try to go next weekend though. It doesn't sound like the tackle selection was "all that", so I may not even bother. I already have a boat :D

The last time I went to one of those things I got the new boat fever. A couple of weeks later, I went into Bradford's to get some new wheels and came out with a new boat. The worst part is, I have already got the fever from a trip to Bass Pro. It gets worse.... I can think of why I need to hang onto the two boats I already have and still use the new one that I need.

I'm glad to know that while pent-up studing for approx. 30 hours this weekend, the marine expo was really the only thing that I missed. I'm in the same boat as DP; I have two boats now and really, really want that third! Hey, you never can have too many boats...:D
