Simply EXCELLENT.

While launching my boat at Dano's at Gold Creek on the 14th, I dropped by Lowrance HDS7 Gen 2 Touch from about 6 feet and ran over it with my truck. Of course, that messed it up good!!!

After getting back home and trying hard and soft resets, as suggested by several c.c members, I finally called Lowrance customer service on the 16th. Craig, the rep I got from Tulsa, was on the line with me in less than 2 minutes.

After hearing my problem, he emailed me a return authorization form and told me Lowrance would take care of it. I could not believe my ears since I had dropped it and ran over it!!!!

I sent it to the return center in California on the 17th by USPS Priority Mail. They got it on the 19th.

Today, the 21st, I just got a NEW IN BOX Lowrance HDS7 Gen 2 Touch with all new wiring, cover, mounts, nuts and bolts for transducer installation AND a new transducer. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Lowrance customer and advocate for life!

Just wanted this on record since it seems there is a lot of criticism of Lowrance's customer service from some quarters.
