Thanks to the wealth of endless information on this site, from the archives to the new daily posts I've learned just enough to almost be dangerous when it comes to catching crappie. I've been able to fish for a couple hours so far this week and had some success trying new to me tactics, over new to me water depths, using new to me lure manipulations, on new to me areas of a familiar lake. To those that may sometimes wonder, just know that your posts will and do help those that are interested in taking the time to read, learn and then test what they've read for themselves. So thanks to all, past and present that share your knowledge on this forum. The new to me's this week:
1. Vertical jigging 16+ feet of water down to almost 20 feet of water.
2. Vertical jigging deep water structure not seen at or above surface level.
3. Using images seen on depth finder to locate fish.
4. Manipulating a manufacturers ready made product to enhance it's appeal
5. Fishing new area on a familiar body of water.
All of these new to me's were first read about and researched to some extent on this forum in either archives or current threads or private message questions and replies. So once again, thanks for your contributions to my success !
Best Wishes !
