good advice nimrod. thanks. and I do keep all mine in the boat in clear plastic containers. will stop that immediately!

The PAM cooking spray is vegetable oil based and will not harm the plastics...I keep all of mine stored like this and have been doing it for years....even the ones left in compartment on boat all summer still look and feel great.

just went outside and sprayed all the jigs I had left in the boat with Pam. However, it showed Canola Oil, not vegetable oil, so we shall see.

WD 40 also work as a attractant be using it over 30 yrs...

Canola oil is considered a vegetable oil.....it is extracted from rape seed.

good to know. decided to play golf today and fish tomorrow when it is supposed to cool down some.
