Duck Hunt Benifitting St. Jude
Each year I donate a duck hunt to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. This year's hunt is listed below and I have cleared this with Slab to put this on the boards and give anyone here at Crappie.Com a chance to bid on this hunt and donate some money to St. Jude's. If any of you have questions please feel free to ask. Slab, thanks again for allowing this to be put here on C.C!!!
This year will be a 2 day duck hunt for 2 people at a private hunting club in east central Arkansas. That's 2 nights lodging, meals for the entire time and 2 days of duck hunting.
What do you have to do to get this? Place a bid by way of a comment here and if you are the high bidder on the date and time this ends, the duck hunt is yours!!
The duck hunt will be from a permanent blind which has lights, stove, hot coffee and plenty of heat. The floor is even carpeted! Waders are not necessary as we will take you by boat right up to the door of the blind.
Lodging will be in a 3 bedroom mobile home, so no roughing it here.
Meals, blind breakfast (no honeybuns a real cooked breakfast), sandwiches at lunch and dinner will be according to what we have in the freezer (venison roast, crappie fillets, fried squirrel, etc). I promise you will not go hungry!!!
This duck hunt will be my way of raising money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. This will be the third year to have this hunt and the last two have been a blast with some great people!!
This is not just a weekend hunt, but this hunt can take place during the week if you prefer (less hunters during the week). I will leave that up to the highest bidder.
If you are the highest bidder, you will not pay me but will donate your bid to St. Jude's through my fund raising page for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend and I will send a link to the highest bidder. Highest bidder must donate the bid amount by November 1, 2015.
Bidding starts tonight and ends at 9 pm on September 6. Keep in mind that donations to St. Jude are tax deductible.
