Great pix and post Greg. Looks like a fantastic weekend. Love the hotel. Always enjoyed going to Hot Springs and the lakes as well as the White River. You are right, it is a great place to spend time.

Up around Cotter. Don't fly fish, but caught a lot on little spoons, broken back rapala's and bottom fishing with corn or trout bait.

I've fished some up in that area, but fish mostly down around Calico Rock, Mountain View are and downstream to Round Bottom. Got a trip planned in late October which I call "100 mile float trip". Me and a buddy are putting in at the Bull Shoals dam and floating to Guion, which is about as far down river as you can find trout. Gonna take 4 or 5 days. Looking forward to it. Apologize to the thread starter. Not trying to hijack your thread.

Looks like a good trip. There's lots of neat things here in Arkansas. I have got to go see those elk
