Finally got some time off from work and was just in time before my girls went neck to school. Between work, community service, balancing moderating 3 to four places i have been strung out thin. Was a welcome relief to be away from the hustle and bustle.

The girls and I headed for the lake Wednesday morning and found the parking lot full of trailors. We knew this could be a good sign. Lil bit jumped in the boat as she has become quite the boat driver. My oldest and I swapped places in the truck and the back down of the Trailor lessons started. Summer after three attempts was successful with some coaching in getting lil bit and the boat in the water.

Off we went across the lake watching the sonar for signs of life. After a little searching we deployed our crank baits and let the wiggle through the water. It wasn't long before the 2 sisters crank baits enticed some crappie to bite. There were no boats around us and the two sisters put the crappie shuffle on the fish. With several triples and quadruples i couldn't keep up taking fish off. I often heard fussing because as soon as they would let the lure out there would be a fish tugging back. Size: 49.6 KBThe day came to an end boating more fish than I can count. We kept 50 good size fish from the lake.
After a quick shower we went for some local Mexican cuisine and man we got full quick. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439659471.968765.jpg

Day two came and I got up while the girls slept in. After awakening we went for a quick biscuit from the local store and readied the boat with ice for another day of cranking. This day was going to be a repeat of day one because as soon as we put the lures in the water the fish started hitting. This day was passing by quickly so we decided to take a break and the girls wanted to swim and play some in the waters. They grabbed my minnow nets and off they went catching crawfish and minnows. Day three started out with a good cool morning as I went for a walk and the girls slept in again. I met some nice people out walking and shared a good cup of coffee while swapping fishing tales. Off to the local store for a biscuit and then Trailor backing lessons with summer.

Once again we found ourselves away from the crowds. We set out our lures again and wow the fish were even more aggressively biting. We couldn't keep our lures in the water as the fish slammed them. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439660850.204470.jpg

We got to see a fellow .com member out and he threatened to video us. He said it looked like a zoo on my boat with so many fish coming in. We welcomed him to fish along side of us and helped him with the depth and color of lures we were using. We got to see him and his friend boat several fish too.. A short 4 hours later we reeled in all our lures as we had our 90 fish limit.

What a great three days with my young ladies. The laughs we shared and memories made are price less. Thanks for reading and take a kid fishing. There are plenty of fish to go around.
