Nimrod caca tourney

bobby mcgaha and I teamed up to fish for the first time this past few days. This was the first time to fish with the caca club and and with bobby. We had a great time and fished hard for sure. The temps were sweltering hot. When we met up, I asked him if he knew he was fishing with the black sheep lol. He didn't care and I told him the number one thing was we were gonna have fun.

went back up prairie creek and fished minnows on a single rig. We found a ton of small bass. I mean like caught 80 or better that were 2 - 4 inches long. They were pesky critters that had voracious appetites. We caught a few good crappie and lost a few that would have boosted our weight. But hey that's fishing lol.

I got to see jason westerburg prefishing and we fished along side for a little bit. That was a great visit since I haven't seen him in a good while. Thanks to Mickey for letting us stay in his motor home for the time we were there.

They weigh in was great as I got to visit with some of the members of the club. Nice to put names and faces together. If you haven't had a chance to fish with the club give them a try. It was nice to hear at the weigh in what the winners did to beat the rest of us lol. They did a great job and congrats to the top finishers.

Scott black I hope I surprised ya showing up he hehe. Good to see you again. Thanks to Andrews bait shop for the hospitality and the fresh cold watermelon at the weigh in. Man it hit the spot.

Thanks Jerry James for showing up after cutting your trout fishing trip early yesterday morning and making the drive over to take pictures. Now one of these days you are gonna have to fish the tourneys with us and not just take pictures.

Thanks to all that make the tourneys happen as it makes for a great fellowship of fisherman.
