The report goes like this:
14 hours on the water, 21 crappie caught but only 2 keepers. A 12" and 14" fish. Bitter sweet deal. On the negative side the wind howled non stop all day and lots and lots of dinks. On the positive side the wind kept it cool and I have learned way more than I knew the day before. If I keep messing around with this sooner or later I will figure out how to improve the size of my catch.
Basically I fished 8-11 FOW. Jig that worked best for me was a small white Gotta Bite grub on a 1/16 head that I pour. I had to hold the bait dead still to get a bite. If it was wiggling they wouldn't touch it.
