Default They're Thumpin Jigs On Greeson

Darryl, Jim and I did a little scouting on Greeson this morning from about 9:30 to 12:30 and found some crappie that were more interested in jigs than minnows for a nice change.

Most hit 1/16th-ounce gray/silver/gray and orange/silver/chartreuse Arkie brand Shinee Hinnee hair jigs fished about 23-feet deep.

I can see where you guys and your "shiney hinees" did pretty darn good. :D

You did realize I wasn't going to let that one go.

It was a little over 15-inches, weighed 1-pound, 15-ounces and hit, shook its head and ran like a bass - had me fooled.

You guys are just cruel. Heartless and cruel. Showin me all these slabs when winter is finally startin to really take hold. I went out after talkin in chat last night and got one nice 24 inch walleyes. Stayed for a while after I caught her and decided to leave. One Last Cast - you know me. I cast my old war horse thunderstick off my line into the middle of the lake that I've managed to keep all year and have caught the majority of my fish on this year. GRRR My last firetiger too. Guess its time for an order of new ones. Its the same one in all my pics.
Good things come to those who bait.
