Default Cove creek area, Greers Ferry lake

Brand new member here, been lurking for a while now. You all have such a great community here, lots of friendly, knowledgeable people. That being said, I am seeking advice on the cove creek area of greers ferry lake. I know its not the best part of the lake to fish, but i have a summer home there. I was thinking night fishing may be my best option. I have been fishing since i could walk but just started actively seeking crappie in the past year or so. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site great folks.unreal the fishing knowledge.not a pro but what has been working for us. On the east side of cove creek is a road with riprap(rock) find the creek channel brush piles on each side in 20-25 ft of water. The game and fish and coe have sunk brush piles in cove creek go to the GFC web site to find them. On miller mountain point is a good area with lots of brush piles. bird island has lots of brush and old home sites under the water.Good luck and good fishing.Black/chart 2 in arkie tubes,Arkie shad in pearl and black/chart Has Has been good before daylite and after dark, White/chart has been good after sun comes up.Wear your life jacket lots of none experienced boaters on the lake.Be careful lakes above normal also.
