Nimrod Lake on fathers day

Water is still high. We launched right behind the bathhouse at Carter cove. It was a slow start to a beautiful day. The water is absolutely the clearest I have seen in some time. We found the fish to be really shallow in the water column around 5-6 ft. They were finicky taking minnows mainly and a light tap. Don't be afraid to fish high water as the fish still have to eat. We found the fish to be over willows mainly.
