Default Viewing Go-Pro With Lowrance Unit

I have heard that you can use the Lowrance unit to view Go Pro images. Has anyone played around with this? Thinking about getting a go pro, and I am already imagining the possibilities!

I don't have a GoPro but I do have a Aqua View and for it you have to have a Lowrance power cord extension and adapter to do it but it works great. You also have to have extremely clear water to see very far, such as Greers Ferry or Norfork. I've tried it on Conway and I could only see a few inches. My camera has LED lights with it too and I would think you would need that if you get very deep, or in stained water. I'll loan you the cord if you get a camera and want to try it to see if it's worth buying the cord.
