    Default Muddy water

I was thinking about giving Dardanelle a try this afternoon but noticed it's risen considerably in the last day. Will this kill the bite? Would y'all go somewhere else?

    thanks in advance

Try some dark or glow jigs because it can get muddy . Even more so on the bayou when Russellville pumps muddy water out of the bottoms. Good luck Hope you did not get caught in this storm !

Careful out there storms not all you need to watch out for. River is running strong.

Fish eat in muddy water too. Remember these 2 things. Fish chartreuse and "challow".

Not gonna be much shallow or clear water with all this rain. Lake and river gauges high on COE website ! Rain not over yet either !

I learned to get in the bays when the main lake gets muddy, They stay clearer than the rest of the lake, have had some tremendous catches in the bays when the main lake and ILL bayou is muddy and rolling.

Thanks everybody for the advice! We ended up going to Peckerwood yesterday afternoon trying to run from the storms. We managed to catch several long lining. Now we just need a break in the rain.
