Ouachita and DeGray were crappie producing lakes a few years ago. When the moss was killed crappie disappeared. I've heard that the Corp or Game and Fish placed Pakistani Flies in both lakes to kill the moss. Whatever happened ruined crappie fishing. I've found some moss coming back, but it will take years for it to become good again. Does anyone know what actually happened? And, if Game and Fish stocking crappie in the lakes presently?

I have been fishing ouachita all year haven't caught more than 4 on any day like you say a few years ago it was really good
