    Default Finally Caught One


    Put in at Dano's on Monday and fished in the cove for a few hours. Most boats were fishing in the middle and catching a few 4 feet down.

    After all the help everyone has given me here on how to install my transducers, how to tip jigs with minnows, and all the other advice, I finally caught a few keepers. Gave them to a fellow since I only had a few.

    One was a whopper to me! Dan weighted it at 2 lbs. 4 oz. and took a picture of me and the fellow I had given it to. Biggest crappie I have ever caught . Picked it up under one of the docks fishing about 10 inches deep with one of Dan's pink minnows.

    Just wanted to say thanks to all for this great site and to Dan who is so helpful.

    That spot is legendary in Arkansas...just wish it was 10 times bigger. LOL
