I personally know a bunch of tourney bass fishermen that keep a treble hook made out rebar tied to rope in their boats just for this purpose. I know one guy that will move/dump a pile into super deep water if he knows your catching fish on it. I don't think its right and while not illegal still not right.

I'm with brokepole on this...people are crazy...it's fishing...what has happened to common sense and respecting one another? I fish for enjoyment and to get away from such non-sense. On more than one occasion I have had (and sure you have too) another boater pull up right next to me and start fishing...I've never said a word to them. On each occasion it was an exercise in self discipline to just let it be. I have a competitive spirit, sure, but going to such lengths to go off on an interloper or move brushpiles? That's just ignorant. Some people have no self control, morals or conscience...in my opinion its best to stay clear of these individuals and take a deep breath before reacting to what they do.:twocents
I think Nimrod and CMJ just try to stir up trouble.....just because you do all the work doesn't mean you shouldn't share with us lazy folks! We need a place to catch fish....and it's easier on your spots!
Fair game to fish, but its not right by any means to move it.
