    Default Felsenthal

Has anyone on here fished Felsenthal for crappie, I used to fish down there when I bass fished. It has a lot of good looking water, lots of lakes and the Ouachita and Saline rivers. There is a lot of timber and other cover. Would like to try it if anyone has any suggestions on where to start.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

I used to hunt in and around Felsenthal Refuge many years ago. No fishing though. However, I was thinking about it a few months back.

LA, anytime you want to try Felsenthal, I am in. I have duck hunted there a bit, and would love to try crappie. I hear they have been biting down there, but no idea where.

I read this in AG&F website today....

    SOUTH-CENTRAL ARKANSAS

Felsenthal: Hale’s One Stop (870-943-2683) said the water is clear and at normal levels. Crappie are biting well on shiners. All other species are slow.

I've done some ducking hunting there. Looks like good Crappie water.
