Nope
thanks, i am new to this forum. i am from so. illinois. i like to make a few trips south each year. Peckerwood is always one of my early favorites. i may try to come down for a few days next week. my youngest son will be on spring break then. otherwise, i would wait until a the weather warms a little. i fish old town and horseshoe some as well. I try to make it down maybe once in March and once in April if i am able. I fish Reelfoot some too. I have never fished any of the Mississippi lakes that seem to be so popular. I would probably never fish them because of the stories I hear about how crowded they get.
i grew up in southern illinois and while far from an expert i am familiar with most lakes in this area, so if i can be of help to anyone wanting info on southern illinois lakes i am happy to share what i have learned over the years.

Welcome dawgyrunner. It will be at least a week before you can put a boat in Reelfoot. It's froze up pretty tight. It all depends on the weather down here this week. Maybe Peckerwood will work out for ya.
You ever fish Rend??
AGFC fishing report still says Hermans landing is close until spring. When spring is, it doesn't say exactly. I don't know about Red Barn Landing or if there are any other boat ramps that are open. May want to try and call ahead first.
Welcome to the forum dawgrunner and good luck fishing the mid-south. I'm pretty sure there are only two pay ramps at Peckerwood and Hermans is closed.
Herman's Landing is open according to their Facebook page. Been open since the 7th of February.
