Glad you got into 'em, BW. You can always learn a lot from a local fellow. Also, them sure are some fantastic lookin' kids you got there. I just can't believe that you would let 'em sit on that old piece of junk fish cleaning station. In fact, why don't I go ahead and swing by to take it off of your hands.:D However, I would like to hear more about the techinque with the spoons first...

, I found my way over to Lake Columbia today right outside of Magnolia. Met a fellow at the ramp that I had seen there a number of times and struck up a conversation. I learned more about that lake in 20 minutes talking to him then I had figured out on my own on countless trips. I invited him out to Crappie.com to browse around. Hope he shows up. Anyways, I ended up with 13 keeper crappie and 3 bream. (He probably caught 25 or so by 8:30... he was "on em". ) I tried something new today.. a shiner never touched my hands. Jigs all the way. I caught a few on a tube jig red/chart, but the fellow at the boat ramped hooked me up with a couple he had made. That was the trick :D . Anyway, here are a couple of links for today.
