got an Hds 7 mounted on a ram mount in the floor of my small aluminum jon boat. my question is whether to leave it mounted and hooked up while driving to the lake or should I take it off and transport it in the front seat. would certainly be easier to get it ready before I leave home if it will take the road bumps. I just don't know about road jarring. thanks for any advise.
