Lake Greeson has come up over 5-feet in less than two weeks and most areas we fished today were pretty murky from all the rain. We had to work for them but we ended up with a pretty good mess.
Most were around 20-feet deep and hit Rosey Red minnows but we caught a few on jigs too.
We caught the striper and white bass on 1/4-ounce Kastmaster Spoons in the main channel where some birds were working. We had a couple more on but they didn't stick around long.
Hey Jerry, that is a great catch with all the fresh water we have been getting. I know we need the rain to get these lakes back up to normal, but it sure makes for some tough fishing. We're supposed to get another 1-2 in. tomorrow in SE Arkansas, so that will probably mess up things for Cane Creek. It's supposed to be nice Friday and before another front, so I'm thinking about taking a day off and going somewhere. May go to Morgan Point and give it a try.
