Hi all. I was wanting to know if anyone knows about the crappie fishing on Lake Hamilton. Are there any fish? Seems like it should be a good lake. I just don't know how to get started on that style impound. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Fish the Boat Docks and brush piles under them.

Go with a small live bait and small line. I've never caught a fish out of a deep clear lake like Hamilton, but I don't mind giving advice on how to do it. If this works, let me know and I'll try it... if I ever fish a deep clear lake again, which I don't ever plan on doing.

I don't fish deep clear lakes either. That's the reason i asked. Muddy, rising and falling water mixed with large flats and ditch creeks is what I normally deal with.

My kind of water right there. There are some folks on here that can get it done in clear water.

I know there's brush piles in Hamilton but you have to search for them with your disi. I fished the lake in 2014 and caught some big crappie but had to search, and when you find them look out.
